The first release of WhosePort: a CLI and local agent that map every port to the process, project and container behind it, a dashboard for investigations you review and approve, and a read-only MCP server for coding agents.

• CLI: whoseport, whoseport <port>, inspect, watch, ask, diagnose, doctor, agent and mcp, all with --json. macOS and Linux.
• Detects when two processes share one port across IPv4 and IPv6.
• Investigations with cited evidence, explicit hypotheses and a structured diagnosis.
• Typed fixes checked by a deterministic policy, approved by you, run by your local agent, then verified.
• Redaction on your machine before upload and again in the cloud.
• Thirteen read-only MCP tools, including whoseport_diagnose.
